ITN Productions were onsite at the Westminster Day of Dance in 2010 to capture a few moments:
There was much interest in morris dancing to accompany the release of UK comedy film “Morris: A Life With Bells On”. To accompany its Leicester Square premiere, we were visited at practice by Chaz Oldham and Lucy Akers for London Tonight (ITV).
Blogger, author & expat Mitzi Szereto met us on our Baker Street Tour, and filmed this documentary piece – in which, among other things, she uncovers just how many IT workers do morris dancing.
In the leadup to our 2009 Day of Dance, one of our men (Jason B. Standing) was interviewed by London-centric news website, Londonist.

Following the press release by The Morris Ring that morris was in danger of becoming extinct, our foreman David Seaborne was invited in to The Guardian office to talk to them a little about morris dancing:

And also give a little demonstration of some of the moves:

An appearance which is now world-infamous – in 1966 the Westminster Morris Men featured in the Frankie Howerd comedy film, as part of a fairly obscure plot device involving a getaway.
Bizarrely, the writers of the 2007 St Trinian’s “reboot” (featuring Russell Brand) didn’t put any morris men in their plotline, so there was no opportunity for a followup appearance.
