Film: The Great St Trinian’s Train Robbery
An appearance which is now world-infamous – in 1966 the Westminster Morris Men featured in the Frankie Howerd comedy film, as part of a fairly obscure plot device involving a getaway.
Bizarrely, the writers of the 2007 St Trinian’s “reboot” (featuring Russell Brand) didn’t put any morris men in their plotline, so there was no opportunity for a followup appearance.
