2023 is rather a special year for Westminster Morris Dancers – it’s our 70th anniversary and we are looking forward to celebrating with our Day of Dance and our invited guest teams.More news to follow

Wednesday 1st February
If you were thinking of coming to practice next Wednesday 1st February, we are sad to say that it is cancelled due to the rail strike. Back to normal on Wednesday 8th.
Open Practice 11th January
Next Wednesday, 11th January, why not make your way over to Tyburnia (that’s the small area between Bayswater Road and Edgware Road, if you are wondering) for an evening of dancing with Westminster Morris Dancers. Any questions? Send us a message.

Our Christmas tour is in Wednesday 21st December 2022. Come and join us:

Christmas Tour
Only four more practices in 2022, so there is still time to come and join us.
The Christmas tour is on Wednesday 14th December and likely to be around Sloane Square area, more news to follow on that.
We return in 2023 on Wednesday 11th January.
Practice: Wednesday 12th October
No train strike on Wednesday 12th October so no excuse to miss practice! See you there. St John’s Church Hall, 18 Hyde Park Crescent, W2 2QD at 8pm.
Practice on Wednesday 5th October
We will NOT be meeting on Wednesday 5th October (train strike, etc). We wil be back the following week 12th October.
New practice season
Last night was our first practice of the season and also an open practice. We were delighted to see a couple of new faces and they may even be back next week!
Don’t worry if you missed the open practice, we would love to see new dancers next week. We meet at St John’s Church Hall, 18 Hyde Park Crescent, W2 2QD from 8pm (or if you are a bit early, at the Victoria, 10a Strathearn Place, W2 2NH).
Open Practice 21st September
Following the unavoidable cancellation last week, we are holding our open practice this coming Wednesday, 21st September from 8pm. Come and try morris dancing. St John’s Church Hall, 18 Hyde Park Crescent, W2 2QD. Nearest stations are Lancaster Gate, Paddington, Edgware Road.
